Syaanh
A home-services marketplace for Qatar, redesigned across mobile and web.
Syaanh.com connects residents in Qatar with trusted, skilled providers — from home repairs and cleaning to errands and delivery. Customers describe what they need, receive offers at prices they can afford, and choose the one that suits them best. As the core Product Designer, I established the design process and redesigned the product across its mobile apps and web platform.

Qatar lacked high-quality marketplaces for home maintenance services. Syaanh set out to fill that gap from both sides: giving residents one trusted place to request help, and giving service providers across different areas a platform to find clients and expand their reach.
- Time-saving. Residents no longer need to travel to physical stores — a real cost given traffic and long distances in Qatar.
- Accessibility for a diverse population. Access to services and goods that fit different cultural and lifestyle preferences.
- Efficiency and speed. Fast, reliable delivery for urgent needs, diverse requirements, and a fast-paced lifestyle.
- Give service providers in every area a single platform to find clients and grow their business.
- Build the UX and UI around the business KPIs, making interaction through the mobile app more intuitive and better at converting.
- Streamline booking and scheduling, so customers can quickly request maintenance at the time that suits them.
- Offer transparent pricing and clear information on costs, to build trust and confidence in the app.
- Provide secure, convenient payment options that fit local preferences and regulations in Qatar.
I was the core Product Designer on Syaanh. I established the entire design process, managed multiple projects, and mentored junior designers — keeping the workflow smooth and helping the team grow.
- Established the UX and UI of the web applications from scratch.
- Redesigned two existing products with a combined 1.5 million active users.
- Conducted UX research to keep product quality high.
- Worked directly with the client's CEO, engineering, and marketing teams.
Every feature went through the same detailed, step-by-step workflow — from discovery through design to delivery — with each phase laying the groundwork for the next.

Product support
New features and UX improvements after release.
The mobile app covers the whole customer journey — onboarding, choosing a service, answering a few questions about the job, comparing offers from agents and companies, and tracking orders — as well as registration for service providers. The final design ran to 80+ screens.
Alongside the apps, I designed the web platform from scratch — 100+ screens that bring service booking and an online shop together, with the same service catalogue customers know from mobile.
Across the two redesigned products, conversion rose by 2–10%, depending on the product or service category, and the total number of active users grew after the mobile and web apps were released. Retention also increased after the redesign and the new features shipped.
