What this site collects, why, and how to control it.
This is a personal portfolio, not a business collecting data to sell or profile you. The short version: this site uses Google Analytics to see which pages get read, and it doesn't set that tracking cookie until you say yes.
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects: which pages you view, how you got here (referrer/search/social), approximate location derived briefly from your IP address (the IP itself isn't stored), device and browser type, how far you scroll, which outbound links and file downloads you click (for example, the CV), and basic engagement time. None of this is tied to your name or email unless you separately email me.
The Contact page's form doesn't submit anywhere I control — it opens your own email app with a pre-filled draft. I only receive what you choose to send, the normal way any email works.
Only Google Analytics sets a cookie on this site, and only after you accept it in the banner. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used — this site doesn't run ads, and Google Signals / ad personalization is not enabled.

This site uses Google's Consent Mode: every tracking signal defaults to denied on every visit until you actively choose. If you accept, that choice is remembered in your browser's local storage so you're not asked again. If you reject, Analytics may still receive anonymous, cookieless pings used only in aggregate — nothing identifiable, and no cookie is set.
You can change your mind at any time — there's a "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page that reopens this choice.
Analytics data is processed by Google LLC under Google Analytics' standard terms. I don't sell, rent, or share visitor data with anyone else. This site doesn't run advertising, retargeting, or third-party marketing pixels of any kind.

Depending on where you live (GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA/CPRA in California, and similar laws elsewhere), you generally have the right to know what's collected, to withdraw consent at any time, and to ask what's associated with your visit. Since this site doesn't collect anything identifying you by name, most requests are best resolved by simply withdrawing consent via "Cookie settings" — but if you want to ask anything directly, email ksenia.ux@gmail.com.
If what this site collects or how it's used changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change with it.
